Jennifer Ann Butkowski, the 32-year-old woman found wrapped in plastic in her boyfriend's Rockwood home in January, died of toxicity from alprazolam, a tranquilizer, and her manner of death was accidental, per the Wayne County Medical Examiner.

Jeffrey Thomas, 50, Butkowski's boyfriend, was charged by Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy with concealing the death of an individual, but court records don't show that any action was taken on the case after a warrant was issued. Wayne County Jail records do not show Thomas as an inmate.

The Wayne County Prosecutor's Office is waiting for a competency report in Thomas' case, said spokeswoman Maria Miller. That report will be reviewed at his probable cause conference on March 20, and his preliminary exam is set for March 27, Miller said.

On Jan. 14, Butkowski was found dead and wrapped in plastic early Sunday morning in the small Wayne County suburb of Rockwood, and her partner was arrested at the scene, police said.

Rockwood police could not immediately be reached.
