Police arrest Inkster mom who allegedly shot son
An Inkster mother is under arrest and her 17-year-old son is in critical condition after the mother allegedly shot the son Thursday morning, Michigan State Police said.
In a series of tweets, Michigan State Police, which investigates all homicides and shootings in Inkster, said the shooting took place on 600 Tobin. The area is north of Avondale and west of Beech Daly.
Police say mother and son argued when the son left their apartment. When he returned, police alleged that the mother shot her son once in his body. He's at an area hospital and in critical condition.
Police arrested the woman at the scene and will continue investigating.
