Michigan State Police are investigating a weekend shooting in Inkster that left a 21-year-old man dead.
The victim was sitting inside his car in the 1200 block of Eastwood at about 7:10 p.m. Sunday when someone “approached on foot and fired multiple shots with a handgun,” investigators said in a statement.
The man, whose name has not been released, was transported to Beaumont Hospital-Dearborn and pronounced dead.
State police are working to identify the suspect and canvassing the neighborhood near the scene for clues, officials said Monday.
