Woman killed in crash in Monroe County

Monroe County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal crash in Exeter Township early Saturday.

Monroe County Sheriff Dan Malone said a woman was involved in a single vehicle crash at 12:45 a.m. Saturday on Zink Road, east of Finzel Road. 

Authorities said Tammi L. Roberts, 38, was driving a white 1999 Land Rover westbound on Zink Road when the car ran off the roadway. 

The vehicle continued westbound through a farm field and crashed into the rear of a residence on Finzel Road. Roberts, of Maybee Michigan, was pronounced dead at the scene.
