Romulus Police Department is asking for the public's help locating a suspect in a Saturday morning shooting that left a woman in critical condition.

The shooting took place just before 5:45 a.m. on the 5900 block of Georgia, in the Metro Commons mobile home park, police said in a statement. That's south of Van Born and east of Middlebelt.

Thurman Tramaine-Adams Taylor, 29

Police say the suspect, Thurman Tramaine-Adams Taylor, 29, went to the woman's home, argued with her and was asked to leave. Police believe Taylor then fired three shots into the home. There were children present at the time. But the woman was the only one shot, and she was hit in her stomach.

After the shooting, police say Taylor stole the victim's black 2005 Cadillac DeVille.

Medics transported the victim to Beaumont hospital, where she's listed in critical condition.

Romulus police ask that anyone with information on Taylor's whereabouts come forward by calling 734-941-8400 and sharing what they know.
