2 found dead in Inkster home

Authorities are investigating the deaths of two people found Thursday afternoon in an Inkster home.

Police were called about 3 p.m. to the 3700 block of Fox Street, near Middle Belt, Michigan State Police said. Upon arrival, detectives found an adult male and an adult female in the living room dead from apparent gunshot wounds.

The 15-year-old son of the adults was inside the home, unharmed and unaware his parents had been killed.

Detectives are following several leads and tips but have no suspects, police said, adding that this was not a random incident.
