A local man and woman have been charged in connection with the human trafficking of a 20-year-old Ohio woman, the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office announced Monday.

 Lorenzo Darrell Hatcher, 25, of Hamtramck and  Lamyia leshia-Pamela Sneed, 21, of St. Clair Shores are accused of kidnapping, assaulting and trafficking the Columbus woman from March 28 through June 3 in the 1100 block of Stockwell on Detroit's east side.

Sneed allegedly committed prostitution "by transporting, facilitating and accepting earning"  in connection with the victim, according to the prosecutor's office. Details and evidence in the case are expected to be presented during the  preliminary examination for Hatcher and Sneed June 29. The pair will have a probable cause conference June 20, with  both hearings before Judge Lydia Nance Adams of 36th District Court.

Hatcher is charged with multiple criminal offenses involving human trafficking enterprise including kidnapping, criminal sexual conduct, threat of physical harm and procuring a person for forced labor resulting in injury.

 Sneed has been charged with related charges including prostitution.

Both suspects were arraigned Thursday in 36th District Court before Magistrate Jeffrey Kleparek.

 Hatcher received a $500,000 cash/surety bond and Sneed received one for $250,000 cash/surety.
