N.J. man, adult son killed in 6-vehicle I-75 crash
Brownstown Township – A father and son were killed in a six-car crash Friday night on Interstate 75 in Brownstown Township, police said.
The father, 61, from New Jersey, and his 20-year-old son were driving at 10:50 p.m. northbound on I-75 near Dix Toledo when a commercial vehicle struck them, Michigan State Police tweeted Saturday.
Four other vehicles were damaged during the collision, promting both north and southbound lanes to be shutdown until 6:30 a.m. Saturday.
No other injuries have been reported and the victim’s names or where they live in New Jersey has been released.
The crash is under investigation by Michigan State Police.
