Probe leads to 5 arrests in alleged Wayne Co. crime ring
Canton Township police have arrested five people in connection with an alleged crime ring in Wayne County.
After a four-month investigation, officers with the township and Michigan State Police executed search warrants Wednesday at storage units, a warehouse and residences in Dearborn and Detroit, authorities said in a statement.
Investigators also are working to recover $125,000 in stolen property, according to the statement. They did not release information about what was stolen.
The names of those arrested typically are not released until charges are filed.
