Dearborn Heights — An armed robbery, carried out by two masked men, left a Dearborn Heights Taco Bell down one cash register Tuesday morning in the Wayne County suburb, police said.

The armed robbery took place about 9 a.m. at the Taco Bell on Telegraph and Ann Arbor Trail, said Captain Mark Meyers of the Dearborn Heights Police Department.

Police say that two suspects, both men, both wearing masks, entered the restaurant, "presented a weapon" to store staff, demanded money — and soon left after with an entire cash register.

Money and other items, which are "potentially part of the investigation," were seen blowing down the streets near the area after the suspects fled.

No one was hurt.
