Michigan attorney general has successful surgery
Attorney General Bill Schuette underwent successful surgery Monday afternoon to replace his left hip, his office said.
The athletic Republican politician had surgery because of recurring pain while running and skiing, Schuette’s spokeswoman said.
Schuette was to remain hospitalized overnight at the Mid-Michigan Medical Center in Midland and discharged on Tuesday. Schuette plans to recover at home for the next two weeks and be back in his Lansing office by March 30.
