Snyder shakes up communications team amid Flint crisis
Lansing — Gov. Rick Snyder is shaking up his communications team amid the Flint water crisis, reassigning his communications director and press secretary.

The governor’s office said Thursday that Communications Director Meegan Holland is being reassigned to a special projects position to focus on rehabilitating the image of the state’s veterans affairs agency.
Press Secretary Dave Murray is being reassigned to the state’s economic development director, Chief of Staff Jarrod Agen said.
Holland joined the governor’s office in December. Murray was promoted to press secretary in November after former press secretary Sara Wurfel left the governor’s office.
Ari Adler, a veteran of media relations in state government, will become Snyder’s communications director. Adler had been working in the governor’s policy office for the past year.
