Should parents of Oxford suspect face charges? Experts say move would be strong but rare

Prosecutors strongly hinted this week that they might level charges against the parents of 15-year-old Ethan Crumbley, who is charged with killing four of his classmates and wounding seven others, including a teacher, Tuesday at Oxford High School.

Crumbley's father last week purchased the semiautomatic pistol that his son used in a deadly school hallway rampage, Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard said. Authorities have described the shootings as methodical and premeditated.
