Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump will return to Michigan next week to hold a campaign rally in Grand Rapids.

The bombastic New York billionaire businessman will rally his supporters at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 21 at the DeltaPlex Arena and Conference Center in Grand Rapids.

Doors will open to the public at 5 p.m., according to the Trump campaign. Free tickets to the rally can be reserved on

Trump was last in Michigan in mid-August to speak at the Birch Run Expo Center for a fundraiser for the Saginaw and Genesee county Republican parties.

Trump has been leading in the national polls, but U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz has been gaining in the latest surveys, which prompted the real estate developer to call the Texas senator a “maniac.”
