Re: Nolan Finley’s March 12 column, “For Mich. right-wingers, more green energy makes sense”: It is not difficult to understand the Right to Life organizations position on energy. In the case of their core issue and energy they hold the same position: Government should mandate what takes place.

Lansing wants the "market, not mandates, to dictate the growth of renewables" but wants to reimpose the utility monopoly on production.
