The GOP has hurt Michigan

Re: The Detroit News’ Oct. 7 article, “Michigan pays $1.9M in legal fees for gay marriage case”: The $1.9 million cost to the state of Michigan for fighting same sex marriage shows the stupidity of our Republican party, which ignores the will of the majority to impress the religious fanatics.

Actions like these will assure them a loss in the next elections.
