I like the flavor “pumpkin spice” as much as the next guy. The rumor mill (social media) indicates that Starbucks may be bringing back their pumpkin spice latte earlier in the season than ever.

Hormel Foods has announced they will sell a limited supply of pumpkin spice flavored Spam starting Sept. 23. The holiday delicacy will initially only be available online.

Hopefully it wont get caught in your spam filter.

The Department of Transportation has spoken. I applaud their wise determination that a line must be drawn in terms of what is acceptable as a “service animal” to be allowed on airplanes.

No more service roosters, peacocks, snakes, ferrets, rodents, spiders, etc.

In a most recent DOT update, “commonly recognized service animals” will be permitted, which includes dogs (I get it) cats (I get it) and miniature horses.

Miniature horses? (I don’t get it.)

Thank you Edward Deeb, founder and chairman of Metro Detroit Youth Day, Eastern Market Merchants Association, Michigan Food & Beverage Association and so much more, for including me and several other far more deserving people with your Michigan Youth Appreciation Foundation “Distinguished Service Award."
