Schools need airport-style security
The latest school shooting in Oxford has pushed me to the edge of my patience. No thoughts or prayers are going to help us through these bloodbaths in our schools. I taught kindergarten. My father was a school administrator. My mother was a school secretary. My mother-in-law was a first-grade teacher, and my father-in-law was a school custodian. My husband was a school superintendent in three states.
