Opinion: Here's how Elon Musk's Twitter deal could make him richer

Who says you can’t have your cake and eat it, too? Tesla founder Elon Musk can buy all of Twitter, bring freedom of speech to the major tech giant and increase his net worth by $16 billion. 

On Nov. 6, Musk asked his 62.5 million Twitter followers (he now has 80.5 million) if he should sell a chunk of stock: “Much is made lately of unrealized gains being a means of tax avoidance, so I propose selling 10% of my Tesla stock. Do you support this?”
