Bravo! Bravo! returns to the Detroit Opera House
With an ambitious planning committee and seven dedicated co-chairs, Bravo! Bravo! (a fundraiser for the Detroit Opera House) returns to the DOH on June 1, bigger and better than ever. “We’re taking it to a new level this year,” says Frankie Piccirilli from the Michigan Opera Theatre. “Nicole New has lined up some amazing musical acts and we have involvement from some of Detroit’s best restaurants.” The group recently released a collection of dramatic promo photos staying with the black tie, theatrical story-telling theme of the event. Restaurants that will participate include Wolfgang Puck Steak, Cheli's Chili Bar, Small Plates, and the Melting Pot, and among the entertainers are Nick Speed and DJ Andres spinning J. Dilla, Nuclassica, Nicole New, Kisma Jordan, and DJ Godfather. General admission tickets are $160. Visit michiganopera.org/events/bravobravo.
