Mike Tyson gets birthday party going early

Iconic boxing champ and entertainer Mike Tyson celebrated his birthday early on Sunday during a private meet-and-greet after his one-man show, “Undisputed Truth Round 2,” at MGM Grand Detroit. About 30 guests gathered around a custom cake shaped like a boxing glove to wish Iron Mike well on his 52nd birthday, which actually takes place on Saturday. Among the guests were champion boxer Tommy Hearns, restaurateur Patrick Rugiero, and singer Martha Reeves, who offered an unusual version of the birthday song.
