Gardening: Outwitting the deer in your flower bed

Like many gardeners, deer are the bane of my existence. They treated the OPC display garden, located in the city of Rochester, like a salad bowl this summer, munching on plants we believed to be deer proof. I think deer that live in the city are changing their diets and have developed a taste for many of the plants once thought to be “deer proof.” The new term is deer resistant.
