Smith: Big time in the Big Apple
It’s a date.
Actually, several dates.
Ted and Joanne Lindsay on a “date” celebrating 27 years of wedded bliss! They will be headed to the famous Beirut Restaurant in Toledo, Ohio, which will also check off one more item on Joanne’s bucket list!
Spring arrives early (on the Polar Express?) tomorrow. It’s also Palm Sunday.
Our radio show will bring you the latest automotive trends, cutting-edge design and extraordinary innovation this Wednesday and Thursday morning as we provide you front row seating at 760 on the AM dial on WJR as we broadcast from the Press Days of the 2016 New York International Auto Show at Jacob Javits Convention Center.
Or as Crain’s Autoweek put’s it, “Big Time in the Big Apple.”
This Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. till 1:30 p.m., Bill Young, wife, Vivienne, son William Patrick Young, and his wife, Angela, and many more from the Absopure Water Co. family present the Detroit Regional “Dollars for Scholars” third annual Celebration Luncheon at the University of Detroit Mercy.
The featured special guest speaker will be Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette, with entertainment provided by the Vision Male Ensemble from Detroit School of Arts, and it will be my pleasure to once again emcee the festivities.
(Sharp readers here will note that I am actually in New York City doing my morning show that morning, and then back on the air from New York again the next morning. I will indeed be “Live” at all three events. Don’t ask.)
Put Thursday, April 21, on your calendar as the mega powerful FUEL Detroit business extravaganza comes back to the Sound Board in MotorCity Casino Hotel.
Paul W. Smith is host of “The Paul W. Smith Show” on WJR-AM (760) from 5:30-9 a.m. Monday-Friday.
