Take in the sportier attitude of the pronounced grille design, and the versatility of the new roof rack mounting brackets on all WRX and WRX STI models. Groove along the road, illuminating curves in nighttime driving with the redesigned LED Steering Responsive Headlights on the WRX Limited and all STI models.

Even better for 2018

You’ll appreciate the everyday usability that lives in the thoughtful Subaru design, and love the even better features of the WRX and WRX STI for 2018. All models highlight upgraded interior materials, rear seat armrest with cup holders and faster remote trunk opening, ready for all your important gear.

Thicker door glass, revised door sealing and a foam-filled windshield header beam translate into a quieter ride, and a new, larger high-definition multi-function display means you will see vehicle functions at a glance. Heated exterior mirrors come standard, and your low back will rest easy against the WRX Limited power driver’s seat lumbar adjustment.

Performance and safety

With a high priority on safety, Subaru revised the front structure of the WRX and WRX STI for 2018 for enhanced frontal collision performance, and a host of additional safety features that protect what matters most.

The WRX Limited, when equipped with EyeSight Driver Assist Technology, now features Vehicle Hold, and a new EyeSight Assist Monitor, which uses LED indicators to display EyeSight status and alerts right on the windshield, so you never have to divert your eyes from the road ahead. Vehicle Hold keeps your Subaru fixed on all road grades, reducing driver fatigue at traffic lights and other stops. When you’re ready, the vehicle seamlessly transitions to acceleration.

The WRX for 2018

The WRX for 2018 sets a benchmark for both performance and value in the high-performance AWD sport-compact class. Take in the 268-hp, 2.0-liter direct injection turbocharged BOXER engine, Symmetrical All Wheel Drive and Active Torque Vectoring.

Reclaim the feel of the open road with Subaru WRX for 2018 with a standard six-speed manual transmission. Or select the optional performance automatic transmission, the Sport Lineartronic® CVT with manual mode.

Take your seat in the WRX and feel astonished by the new front and rear suspension tuning for improved steering stability and ride comfort and high cornering performance capability. Reduced friction, a new synchro design and smoother clutch take-up enhances the shifter feel in the six-speed manual transmission. Electric power steering in the WRX puts a smoother, natural feel in your hands.

For an all-around enhanced experience, consider the new optional Performance Package for the WRX Premium. You’ll ride on Recaro eight-way power seats, red-painted brake calipers and upgraded JURID brake pads. Standard 18-inch wheels wow with a bold new double-spoke design.

The WRX STI for 2018

You’ll notice the yellow-painted brake calipers that identify the significantly upgraded Brembo Performance Brake System on the Subaru WRX STI for 2018. Using stronger monoblock six-piston calipers in front, monoblock two-piston calipers in the rear and larger, drilled rotors all around, the system features better heat dissipation.

Improved braking feel and fade resistance come from new brake pads with greater surface area. The STI also offers Recaro eight-way power seats, standard on STI Limited and optional for the base trim. This model’s first-ever 19-inch wheels will impress with a striking Y-shaped spoke design that actually helps raise cornering performance.

The WRX STI brings rally-bred performance technology to the road with Multi-Mode Driver Controlled Center Differential Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and a 305-hp 2.5-liter turbocharged BOXER engine.
