Detroit City FC's Zach Myers (15) and Lansing United's Austin Dunn (3) vie for control of the ball during a match last season at the Cass Tech field in Detroit.

Detroit City FC is proposing $3 million in renovations to Keyworth Stadium in Hamtramck. The soccer team is looking for investors to finance the move, the Hamtramck Review reported.

Sean Mann of Detroit City FC said told the Hamtramck School Board the team hopes to move into the stadium in 2016. Detroit City FC currently plays its game at Detroit Cass Tech.

If the team moves to Hamtramck, it would pay for the renovations in exchange for use of the stadium, currently used by Hamtramck High.
