Michigan will have an actual spring game next month.

The Wolverines, under new coach Jim Harbaugh, will hold a draft on March 28 in advance of the spring game on April 4 at Michigan Stadium.

Michigan has not held a true spring game in years, mainly because of limited numbers of healthy players.

Harbaugh held a spring-game draft while head coach at Stanford to create a competitive atmosphere and the closest thing to real game action. There were two coaching staffs. After a coin flip, the winning coach was allowed the first pick, and then each staff selected two players apiece in the following "rounds."
