Detroit-Jesuit High standout and highly sought-after recruit Cassius Winston is expected to miss six to eight weeks of AAU basketball after breaking his wrist in a Nike Elite Youth Basketball League game last week, according to an MLive report.

The injured wrist involved his non-shooting hand, the report said.

Winston, a 6-foot-1 junior point guard, is a four-star recruit who already has Big Ten offers from MSU, Michigan, Ohio State, Iowa and Maryland. He averaged 18 points, nine assists and seven rebounds and 3.5 to help the 22-3 U-D Jesuit reach the Class A semifinals.
