The Detroit News

Tigers outfielder Anthony Gose looks to extend his hitting streak to 12 games when the Tigers continue their series with the Orioles Saturday at Comerica Park (FSD/1270 AM and 97.1 FM). First pitch is 7:08.

In Friday's 7-3 win, Gose went 2-for-3 with two doubles and an RBI to extend the streak to a career-high 11 games. The left-handed hitter is batting .385 (15-for-39) with eight runs scored, four doubles, a triple, a home run and three RBIs during that span.

Gose, who returns in the No. 9 spot Saturday, is tied for the longest active hitting streak in the American League.
