The U.S. women's national team has added a pair of September matches against Australia to its World Cup victory tour.

The World Cup champion U.S. women's soccer team will play the Australians Sept. 17 at Ford Field.

The team will face the Matildas at 7 p.m. Sept. 17 at Ford Field in Detroit, before a rematch on Sept. 20 at Legion Field in Birmingham, Alabama.

The matches are the latest to be announced for a 10-game victory tour following the World Cup. The United States claimed the title with a 5-2 victory over Japan earlier this month and also beat Australia, 3-1, in group play, with two goals by Megan Rapinoe.

Australia advanced to the World Cup quarterfinals for the first time.
