Asia-Pacific faces Southeast in Junior League World Series final

Asia-Pacific (Tai Chung, Chinese Taipei) will meet the Southeast Region (Frederick County, Va.) in the Junior League Baseball World Series final Sunday at Heritage Park in Taylor. First pitch is 1 p.m. (ESPN). The tournament is for players ages 13-15.

Chung Yi Lee pitched a two-hit shutout in Asia-Pacific's 6-0 victory over Puerto Rico in the international championship game Saturday at Heritage Park. Lee also collected three RBIs on two hits, including a two-run homer in the second inning.

In USA championship, the Southeast Region defeated the Central Region (Johnston, Iowa) 7-4. Nicholas Mazza went 1-for-3 and homered for Frederick County.
