Tigers-Blue Jays lineups: Boyd faces old team

Left-hander Matt Boyd will make his third start at Rogers Centre but this time in a different uniform . The former Blue Jays prospect will start for the Tigers as they open a three-game series with the Jays on Friday (FSD/1270 AM & 97.1 FM). First pitch is 7:07.

Boyd (1-2, 4.88 ERA) made two starts at Rogers as a member of the Jays, going 0-2 with a 14.85 ERA (6⅔ innings pitched, 13 earned runs) and 15 strikeouts.

He's made five starts since being acquired as part of the David Price deal, including Sunday's 4-2 loss against Texas. He gave up three runs on five hits with two walks and three strikeouts in six innings pitched.

Knuckleballer R.A. Dickey (8-10, 4.26) starts for the Jays.
