Michigan running back Wyatt Shallman posted Friday on Twitter a photo of himself in a hospital bed.
Shallman, who missed last Saturday's home opener, has an undisclosed injury.
"Only thing I can do now is get better! Love the challenges!" Shallman wrote on Twitter, adding a hashtag #idontlikeneedles.
The Detroit Catholic Central product did not play against Oregon State, along with Mike McCray and Chase Winovich.
Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh was asked this week for updates on the three.
"All three are working through something," Harbaugh said, clarifying he meant injuries.
Harbaugh did say none of the injuries are long term or season ending.
A Michigan spokesman on Friday confirmed to The Detroit News that Shallman had a "minor procedure."
