Allen Park — Lions linebacker DeAndre Levy was walking through the hallways at team headquarters Wednesday, which is a good sign of his health considering he recently underwent hip surgery.
As coach Jim Caldwell indicated would happen last week, Levy had successful surgery recently to fix a hip ailment that kept him out of the Lions’ first four games then flared up when he made his debut in Week 5.
Caldwell said the Lions have not yet decided whether or not Levy needs to go on injured reserve, which would end his season.
In his first six seasons with the Lions, Levy never missed more than five games in a season (2010). He missed just two total games from 2011-14.
