Michigan will have a special visitor for its football opener — Michael Jordan.

Wolverines coach Jim Harbaugh said on “The Rich Eisen Show” the NBA Hall of Famer will be at their Sept. 3 game against Hawaii and serve as an honorary captain.

Michigan makes its return as a Nike school at that game and Jordan, who led the Bulls to six NBA titles and currently owns the Charlotte Hornets, is one of Nike’s most famous endorsers.

The Wolverines will wear uniforms with a Jordan Jumpman logo. Michigan signed a 15-year, $173-million contract with Nike that goes into effect on Aug. 1.
