Detroit City FC alum Evan Louro, a goalkeeper, has signed with the New York Red Bulls of MLS.
According to a release from Detroit City FC, Louro only played in one regular season match with the team — a 2-2 draw in last season’s NPSL opener at Michigan Stars FC — but he was the Man of the Match in Detroit City’s first-round U.S. Open Cup win over the Michigan Bucks on May 12.
Louro, from South River, New Jersey, played 46 games for the Michigan Wolverines, posting a career goals-against average of 1.17.
