Get to know me: USPBL's Tommy Fuessel

Tommy Fuessel isn't sure what he'd want to be if he wasn't a pro baseball player.

The latest in The Detroit News' series of “15 Things You Don’t Know About Me” — Tommy Fuessel, an outfielder for the Westside Woolly Mammoths of the USPBL.

1. I’m kind of a nerd when it comes to videogames. "Call of Duty" and "Fortnite" are two of my favorites.

2. I can play guitar, ukulele, and a little bit of piano

3. I can juggle.

4. For seven years, I thought i was going to be a professional skate boarder.

5. I’m allergic to chicken ... stop ordering chicken for the clubhouse, Mike. 

6. My middle name is John. Yes, Tommy John. 

7. When I was little, my Mom told me to look both ways before crossing the street. I told her, "It’s OK, Mom. I’m faster than the cars.” 

8. My best friend is a Golden Retriever named Maggie.

9. My favorite TV show is "Breaking Bad." 

10. I really enjoy fishing.

11. If baseball doesn’t work out, I still don’t know what I want to be when i grow up.

12. Marshmello is my favorite music producer. 

13. I have a crush on Erin Alvey (country singer).

14. I hope to one day live in either South Haven, or somewhere in Tennessee.

15. In fifth grade, I was in a rock band.
