Manny Harris earns D-League player of week honors

Guard-forward Manny Harris (Michigan, Detroit Redford) was named the NBA D-League Performer of the Week Monday after averaging 29.5 points and 11.5 rebounds in a pair of victories for the Los Angeles D-Fenders.

He notched a triple-double with 39 points, 13 assists and 10 rebounds over the weekend as the D-Fenders set a D-League scoring record in a 175-152 victory over Reno.

Harris played with the L.A. Lakers on a pair of 10-day contracts last season.

The Lakers' D-League affiliate also set records with most points in a single quarter (56) and half (94).
