Eastern Michigan falls to Miami (Ohio)
Kenny Young's 54-yard touchdown highlighted a dominant first half by visiting Miami of Ohio, which defeated Eastern Michigan, 28-15, in Mid-American Conference football play Saturday at Rynearson Stadium.
Young's run enabled the RedHawks to jump out to a 14-0 lead before the Eagles got on the board with Paul Fricano's 40-yard field goal with 1:33 left in the first half.
Gus Ragland opened the scoring on a 2-yard run with 9:37 left in the first quarter for Miami (3-6, 3-2 MAC).
Brogan Roback connected on TD passes to Nigel Kilby (4 yards) and Dieuly Aristilde (75 yards) in the fourth quarter for Eastern (5-4, 2-3), which remained one win short of bowl eligibility.
