Harbaugh, Fleck among candidates for national coaching award

Michigan’s Jim Harbaugh and Western Michigan’s P.J. Fleck have been named to the midseason watch list for the Bobby Dodd Coach of the Year award.
The list includes 18 candidates.
Harbaugh’s Wolverines and Fleck’s Broncos are 8-0 and nationally ranked in the AP poll, Michigan No. 2 and WMU No. 17.
Michigan is host to Maryland on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. (ESPN) and Western plays at Ball State on Tuesday at 8 p.m. (ESPN2).
