Wayne State men fall on road to Lake Superior State

Wayne State fell into a 13-4 hole early and never climbed out, losing to host Lake Superior State, 90-47, in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference men's basketball action Saturday.

Jordan Dasqui scored 18, going 6-of-8 on 3-pointers for Lake Superior (15-9, 12-8 GLIAC). Josh Goldschmidt had 15 points and Akaemji Williams added 10 for the Lakers, who led 45-15 at halftime.

Chuck Key had 14 points to lead Wayne State (15-9, 12-8), which concludes the regular season against Saginaw Valley State at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Matthaei Center.
