Kyren Williams, a three-star running back from St. John Vianney in St. Louis, on Sunday revealed his list of top eight schools, and it includes Michigan and Michigan State.

The others on his list, in no order, Williams wrote on Twitter, are Notre Dame, Missouri, Stanford, Illinois, Nebraska and Iowa.

Williams (5-10, 200 pounds) is ranked the No. 22 running back nationally in the 2019 class by 247Sports. He is ranked the No. 8 player overall in Missouri.

Williams told 247Sports why he included Michigan and Michigan State on his list:

Michigan: “Their tradition, the fan base and the coaching staff. Coach Harbaugh is known for winning and getting guys to the NFL. He’s a great head coach. The campus and education, a lot like Notre Dame, it’s all top-notch. It’s a great public school and one I really like.”

Michigan State: "I know that Coach Dantonio is a great coach and they had a great running back in Le'Veon Bell. I'm still learning about the program and excited to get up there to check them out."
