Elijah Minnie scored 17 while Boubacar Toure, Malik Ellison and Kevin McAdoo had 10 apiece as Eastern Michigan rolled to its third straight win, beating NAIA Goshen, 97-74, at the Convocation Center on Sunday.

The Eagles (3-0) built an early first-half lead and made it stand the rest of the way. Minnie made a pair of layups, Toure added one and Paul Jackson hit a 3-pointer for an early 9-0 lead. They extended the lead to 35-7 on Isaiah Green’s layup with 8:31 before halftime.

Eastern Michigan shot 56.7 percent (38-of-67) from the floor compared to Goshen’s 38.2 (29-of-76) and held a 45-35 rebounding advantage.

James Thompson IV had nine rebounds for the Eagles, who travel to play Duke on Wednesday. Two of Eastern Michigan’s first three wins have come against NAIA-member schools.

Austin Branagan had 15 points and Demarkus Stuckey added 12 for Goshen (1-4).

New Mexico State 66, (at) Western Michigan 54: Brooke Salas scored 22 and Gia Pack added 16 for New Mexico State (2-0). Leighah-Amori Wool had 19 points to lead Western (1-1).

Indiana 59, (at) Oakland 32: Brenna Wise scored 14 and Ali Patberg added 13 as Indiana (2-0) . Kahlaijah Dean had 14 points and Taylor Jones 13 for Oakland (1-2).

Lake Erie 68, (at) Wayne State 57: Breanna Bauer, Ashley West and Farrah Benner each scored 14 for Lake Erie (1-0). Alexis Miller and Alex Matus had nine points apiece for Wayne State (0-2).
