The hits keep on coming for Katelynn Flaherty.

Flaherty, Michigan basketball’s all-time leading scorer, was a unanimous first-team All-Big Ten selection and became the first three-time first-teamer in program history, in coaches’ and media voting unveiled Monday.

Her teammate, junior center Hallie Thome, earned the nod from the media after averaging 16.7 points and 7.2 rebounds.

Senior forward Jillian Dunston was also named to the all-defensive team after leading Michigan with 9.2 rebounds per game and 49 total steals. Dunston joined Jenny Ryan (2012) as the only Wolverines to be named to that team, and is one of two players in program history to record at least 800 rebounds and 150 steals in a career.

Minnesota’s Destiny Pitts (Detroit Country Day) was named the freshman of the year by both the coaches and media.

Michigan (21-8, 10-6) opens Big Ten tournament play in Indianapolis on Thursday. As the No. 6 seed, it gets either Penn State or Illinois, who play Wednesday.

Michigan State (17-12, 7-9), the No. 10 seed, plays Indiana on Thursday.
