The Spartans and Wolverines will face a pair of familiar foes in the 2018 ACC/Big Ten Challenge.

Michigan State will travel to Louisville on Nov. 27 and Michigan will host North Carolina on Nov. 28 in this year's installment. The matchups were officially announced on Friday.

It'll be the second year in a row Michigan will face North Carolina in the annual event. The Tar Heels ran past the Wolverines, 86-71, in Chapel Hill last year.

The rematch will give Michigan a chance to avenge another of one of its losses from this past season, along with its national title game rematch against Villanova in the Gavitt Games. It could also be a potential meeting between two top 25 teams.

Michigan State and Louisville squared off in the series in 2015, with the Spartans prevailing, 71-67, in a top-25 matchup in East Lansing.

The ACC has won the Challenge the past two years with an 11-3 and 9-5 record. Michigan State is 8-10 in the event and Michigan is 7-10.

The 14-game event will be played over a three-day period (Nov. 26-28) and all games will be televised on ESPN's family of networks. TV designations and tip-off times will be announced at a later date.
