'No one's gonna ever give up': Iowa a heavy dog vs. Michigan, but it's bucked odds before

With all the hype about the Big Ten East this season — at one point, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State and Penn State all were considered College Football Playoff contenders — it's easy to forget that Iowa started 6-0, too, and was ranked No. 2 in the country.

The Hawkeyes had risen to second in the Associated Press poll after defeating the fourth-ranked Nittany Lions, 23-20, on Saturday, Oct. 9.
