Michigan State football coach Mark Dantonio has been known to have fun at practices.

A few years ago at the Outback Bowl, he brought an alligator in to break up the week for his team. But on Thursday, it was a superhero.

Actor Ben Affleck, who is in East Lansing filming scenes for the movie "Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice," was working out in Michigan State's weight room when Dantonio invited him out to practice.

That's when Affleck grabbed a microphone, and said to associate athletic director John Lewandowski, "I'm Batman."

Pictures tweeted by Michigan State show Affleck addressing the team as a smiling Dantonio looks on.

Affleck isn't the first movie star to spend time at Michigan State. In 2010, "300" actor Gerard Butler was on hand for an entire weekend, stopping in at basketball's Midnight Madness before meeting with the football team.
