Matt Charboneau: Michigan State will have one of its toughest tests running the ball as Penn State is No. 1 in the Big Ten, allowing 81.7 yards a game. But the Spartans have one of the most prolific offenses and the Nittany Lions rank near the bottom of the conference in most defensive categories. Michigan State 31-14

Angelique S. Chengelis: Michigan State will win the trenches against Penn State, and while the Nittany Lions are No. 1 nationally in rushing defense, the Spartans have enough balance offensively to give Jeremy Langford room and opportunity to run. The Spartans will lock up a 10-win regular season. Michigan State 24-10

John Niyo: Penn State hasn't given up more than 20 points in regulation since September, including that overtime loss to Ohio State. But Michigan State's balanced offense is well-equipped to end that streak. Michigan State 27-14

Bob Wojnowski: Michigan State's offense has been borderline unstoppable, whether it's Jeremy Langford running or Connor Cook throwing. I doubt the Nittany Lions will stop it either, but they do have a stout run defense, and they did take the Buckeyes to double overtime. The difference is, Penn State QB Christian Hackenberg has regressed, and Michigan State keeps getting better. Michigan State 30-10
