Michigan State reenters AP rankings at No. 25
Michigan State is ranked No. 25 in this week's Associated Press college basketball poll, following Sunday night's 87-61 win over Oakland. MSU returns to the Top 25 after a one-week absence.
The Spartans (7-3) host Eastern Michigan at 9 p.m. on Wednesday night and then Texas Southern on Saturday at 5 p.m.
Kentucky is still the unanimous No. 1 team. The Wildcats (11-0) got all 65 first-place votes in the new poll. The top seven spots are unchanged from a week ago.
Duke, Arizona, Louisville and Wisconsin round out the top five, followed by Virginia and Villanova.
Kentucky last week lost forward Alex Poythress for the season after he tore a knee ligament in practice. The Wildcats responded Saturday with an 84-70 win over North Carolina.
