Michigan State senior safety Kurtis Drummond, junior cornerback Trae Waynes and junior center Jack Allen were named third-team All-American by the Associated Press.

Drummond, from Masury, Ohio, leads the Spartans this season in tackles (65), interceptions (four) and pass breakups (11).

Waynes, from Kenosha, Wis., has 43 tackles, three interceptions and seven pass breakups.

The Spartans were second in the Big Ten in scoring defense (19.9) and third in total defense (293.5 yards).

Allen, from Hinsdale, Ill., helped the Spartans to a scoring advantage of 517 to 239 over their opponents this season. They finished second in the Big Ten in scoring offense (43.1) and second in total offense (496.5 yards).
