Former Michigan State guard Kalin Lucas, playing for the Iowa Energy of the NBA Development League, got into a fight during a game with teammate Jarnell Stokes on Tuesday night.
The Des Moines Register says the players got into a scuffle during a timeout with 2:29 left in the third quarter. Both players were ejected from the game.
Lucas is 6-1 and 195 pounds and Stokes is 6-7 and 250, according to the Energy roster.
The Energy won the game over the Rio Grande Valley 124-120 at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.
Lucas, 25, was born in Sterling Heights and played at Orchard Lake St. Mary's. He played at MSU from 2007-08 through 2010-11, and was Big Ten Player of the Year and the Spartans' MVP as a sophomore.
Lucas was not drafted by an NBA team and has played in Europe and the Development League since leaving MSU.
